Dr. Radtke Becomes Newest Prostate Cancer Ambassador

by Robert Warren Hess

Prostate cancer is a silent disease that has no symptoms until it has reached an advanced stage.

The good news is that a simple PSA blood will show if your PSA is elevated. Looking at your PSA test number each year will show you if you have a rising trend, which just means a doctor visit to determine if its cancer (only a 1 in 6 chance) or something else.

Dr. Jan Radtke recently became our first overseas prostate cancer ambassador, helping get the word out to guys about the importance of the simple PSA test. Jan is a urologist practicing in Heidleberg, Germany. The picture was taken last month at Germany’s largest gran fondo ride, more than 10,000 riders!

If you like to ride your bicycle and make a difference, join us this coming week for our Alpine Loop Gran Fondo in Harrisonburg, VA – http://alpineloopgranfondo.com.

And we sure to take your annual PSA test and personally track the results.

Allez!
