Jeremiah Bishop Alpine Gran Fondo

PCAP is the Presenting Sponsor

Ride Your Way to Prostate Cancer Prevention

The Prostate Cancer Awareness Project (PCAP) is pleased and proud to be the presenting sponsor of the Jeremiah Bishop Family Foundation’s annual Alpine Gran Fondo bicycle challenge.

One-third of all cancers in America stem from poor eating habits and too little exercise.  The Alpine Gran Fondo is a world-class cycling event that helps us get our message about the importance of early prostate cancer detection to men, while at the same time providing a great adventure venue.

The 100-mile Gran Fondo loop is a challenge even for fit cyclists, but we have a medium difficulty route and a beautiful 30-mile family ramble through the Shenandoah Valley.

Since the first event in 2010, participants have raised over $55,000 to support prostate cancer awareness and our free ProstateTracker early detection tool.

Mark September 26, 2021, on your calendars and plan to join us in Harrisonburg, Virginia – the Bicycle Capital of Virginia – for the 2021 edition of the Jeremiah Bishop Alpine Loop Gran Fondo.
